We are seeking a Senior Property Manager to join our dynamic team in Basildon, Essex. As a Block Property Manager, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of residential properties, ensuring their smooth operation, and enhancing the living experience for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day management of residential properties, including maintenance, repairs, and service charge administration.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with RMC Directors, Leaseholders, and contractors.
- Conduct regular property inspections and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Coordinate and supervise maintenance and repair works, ensuring timely completion and high-quality standards.
- Manage budgets, financial reporting, and service charge collection.
- Handle residents’ queries and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate with the wider team to identify opportunities for improvement and implement best practices in property management.
- Manage LPE1 enquiries and associated legal cases thereafter
Requirements:
- Proven experience in block property management, ideally within the residential sector.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Sound financial acumen, including budget management and financial reporting.
- A customer-centric mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Professional qualifications such as IRPM (desirable).
